Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India (HMSI), country’s second largest 2wheeler maker, in past couple of months has launched Africa Twin dirt bike and Cliq scooter, is now said to be launching a new advanced urban scooter Grazia. Pre-orders of Grazia, which is to be 6th scooter model in HMSI’s product offerings, will start on Oct. 25 and customers can book it for a token amount of 2000 Rupees.
Even though Honda has officially announced it’s schedule to start to take booking of Grazia but it is yet to offer any guidance or indication about how the new Grazia will look like or its specifications.
Images of Grazia available at few media outlets gives idea about its styling and features. Images available at media offers a glimpse of front apron, side shots and meter console of Grazia suggests that forthcoming automatic scooter is taking style cues frorm Dio, Honda’s youth positioned automatic scooters. Front shots of Images clearly show V shaped headlamp mounted on front apron.
Reports suggests that Honda 2W may position it at a premium over Activa125 and may come at a price tag of around 65000 Rupees. Few reports also suggests that Grazia may come with same 109 cc engine that is powering Activa Std, Aviator and Dio. Coming with dual tone paints job Grazia is expected to have features like alloy wheels, Honda Patented Combi Brake System and/or front disc brake.
An image also indicates reworked digital instrument cluster and a small utility space at the left along with USB charging port to give the rider convenience of charging his smartphone on the go.
Honda 2wheelers has given Grazia tagline of ” Advanced Urban Scooter ” and its target customers are young riders based in Metropolitan cities.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India (HMSI) has not announced start date of deliveries to customers, although it is expected to hit the roads in first week of November.
